Christmas Party kila Shobe sa Rizal! With co-trainees Vic, Honey, Michael, Joy, Shobe, Karen, Hazel & Jelvie, halos nandoon na lahat ng staff ng Medicine ICU (Ma’am Helen, Lucy, Maan, Arlene, Mavi) at Medicine Ward (Ma’am Luz, Gina, Lhen, Sir Eugene). After tirahin ang mga hinandang pagkain, nag exchange gifts kami! Napili ko si Ma’am Luz (bag ang gift ko sa kanya) at si Ma’am Yvonne (na wala doon, si Sir Eugene ang proxy!) ang nakapili sa akin! Gift: Canister! Saya ng araw na ito, too bad di man lang ako tinamaan ng mga ininom namin dahil umuwi kami agad nila Ma’am Mavi atbp dahil maaga pa ang pasok bukas!

On her 18th birthday, Bella Swan wakes up from a dream in which she sees herself as an old woman. Distraught over her supposed suicide, Edward flees to Italy to provoke the Volturi, a powerful vampire coven capable of killing him, by exposing himself in the sunlight. Alice, Edward’s sister, and Bella rush to Italy to save Edward, and arrive just in time to stop him. However, the Volturi determine that Bella, a human who knows that vampires exist, must either be killed or transformed into a vampire herself. Alice stops them from killing her by sharing her premonition with Aro, a Volturi elder who is able to read thoughts, in which Bella has been transformed. Returning to Forks, Edward tells Bella that he always loved her and only left to protect her. She forgives him, and the Cullens vote in favor of Bella being transformed into a vampire, to Edward and Jacob’s dismay. Edward gives Bella a choice: either she lets Alice change her after their graduation, or, if Bella agrees to marry him, he will change her himself. However, Jacob reminds Edward of the treaty the Cullens made with the Quileutes: they will not attack each other, as long as the Cullens never bite a human.

My first month as elective trainee in QCGH ICU!

More challenging ang role ng elective trainee, lalo na sa ICU. Dati, hindi kami pinapahawak ng charts ng mga patients noong regular trainee pa lang kami, pero ngayon, kami na ang nagcha-charting sa Nurse’s Notes, carry out ng doctor’s order, at iba pa.

Kasabayan ko sila Shobe at Karen, at nandoon din ang mga veteranong elective trainee (Honey, Victor, Jillian, Joy at Michael). Dahil ahead ang mga elective trainee sa mga regular trainee, tinatawag nila kaming ir/ma’am, Nakakahiya kasi kinakapa ko pa ulit ang ICU after months of tambay! Pero unti unti, nakakasabay na ako sa flow ng ICU - intubation, CPR, etc.

Hindi na rin ako nakakakain sa Violybee tulad noong regular trainee pa lang ako! Kaya nagbabaon ako ng pagkain at sa Medicine Ward Nurse’s Station kami kumakain. Enjoy ako ngayon sa role ko as elective trainee! Mababait ang mga staff ng ICU (Ma’am Helen, Maan, Lucy, Mavi, Arlene), medicine ward (Crispy ulo!), doctor at clerks. ^_^

Nanood kami ni Faye ng advance screening ng Twilight Saga: New Moon sa SM Megamall. She treat me a free ticket from NB. Before the premiere night screening kumain muna kami at nag-kwentuhan all the way. Tagal ko na rin siya hindi nakikita. Thanks Faye!

At last! Naka AAA Full Combo na ako sa DDR! Hindi ako makapaniwala but its true! It was my first time to have that score after years of playing DDR! The song was Raspberry Heart (English Version) by jun feat. PAULA TERRY. I have 5 Greats kaya hindi ko siya na Perfect Full Combo, but I won’t give up!  I know this is just a start of something new!

Kasama ko si Iris, Mike, Jess at Joseph, nag Congo Grille kami sa Trinoma! Balitaan at tawanan hehehe! Wala pa akong tulog nito dahil sa 10-6 kong duty sa ICU!

1st day

Kasama ko si Spike, 1st time ko lang dito. Nagandahan kami sa dance pad ng DDR X ng G4! Ito na ata ang pinakamagandang dance pad sa Pinas. Nandoon din ang ibang players tulad nila Gerard.

2nd day

Isa ito sa mga hindi ko makakalimutang araw sa DDR! After ng training ko sa QCGH, nag DDR X ako with Adrian & Emman (naka clincal uniform pa ako noon, pero ok lang). Na AA ko ang 30 Lives (Up-Up-Down-Dance Mix) by The Motion Sick at Always on My Mind by Pet Shop Boys - ito ang dalawang kantang gustong gusto ko sa DDR X (masaya ako dahil minsan lang naman ako mag DDR X). Na AA ko rin ang PORIRIZUMU (Polyrhythm) by Pink Lemonade. Hindi lang ‘yan, nakapag Extra Stage pa at na AA ang SABER WING by TAG (hindi ko talagang inakalang mai-AA ko ‘to kasi first time ko lang siya nilaro and I’m just focusing on getting the arrows). Nagkaroon ng Encore Extra Stage at na-AA ang Freeway Shuffle by dj TAKA! Alam kong normal routine lang ‘to sa Quantum, pero alam kong magiging usual na rin ito para sa akin tulad nila Adrian at Emman. Konting practice pa!!!

Pumunta akong Sto. Thomas, Batangas para mag inquire sa Sto. Thomas General Hospital. Unfortunately, full na ang position for staff nurse at may mga trainee pang nag-aantay. Instead, they offered Medical Records Section (parang sa OPD ng QCGH - paperworks). Si Marvin ang nag orient sa akin. After, kumain sa Chowking sa proper, nag hanap ng boarding house at umuwi na.

Nov. 2 2009

Start ng elective training ko sa Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) sa QCGH. Kasama ko ang ibang baguhang trainee na sila Shobe at Karen. Si Ma’am Helen Marzan pa rin ang mabait (at makulit) na head nurse ng area. Nalaman kong hindi pa umaalis ang 5 lumang elective trainees doon (tulad nila Victor at Jillian), ayaw nilang bumaba dahil nagustuhan na daw nila sa MICU. Ako rin, parang ayaw ko ng bumaba kasi ICU talaga ang gusto kong area. Dahil sa nakaraang bagyo na nagdulot ng matinding baha sa lungsod, may mga leptospirosis patients kami. They undergo peritoneal dialysis.

3 months din akong walang ginagawa sa bahay after ng 6 months regular training ko dati sa QCGH kaya medyo kinakapa ko pa ulit ang mga gawain doon. Isa pa, mas dumami ang responsibility namin as elective trainee, we are allowed to do charting (monitoring, nurse’s notes). Maraming kanin pang kakaining bigas, alam kong balang araw, kabisado ko na rin ang galaw ng ICU at magiging staff dito!

DJ na kasi siya sa isang sikat na radio station sa province. Pinakilala ko siya kay Spike at sumali sa Silver Apples! First time ko natapos ang Challenge ng MAX 300 Super-Max-Me Mix by Jondi & Spesh! Na-AA ko ang Freeway Shuffle by dj TAKA, I Need You by Supa Fova feat. Jenny F., HAPPY ANGEL by jun with TAHIRIH at Unbelievable by EMF. After DDR, kumain at kwentuhan kaming tatlo sa isang kainan sa Loyola. Oo nga pala, may hangover pa ako this day dahil sa tinunggang vodka at brandy sa Fairview kagabi!

After Skechers Street Dance Competition 5 sa SM Skydome (sumali ako dati dito representing FEU), nag punta ako sa Quantum. Nandoon ang isang Chang (at makulit pa rin hehehe). Nag DDR X ako with Kuya Francis of KonamiX (finished Pluto Relinquish by 2MB with.. well, dangered life hahaha). After, Nag DDR SuperNOVA 2 sa TW sa EGC with Spike. Nandoon din sila Alvin. First time ko natapos ang Fascination -eternal love mix- by 2MB na hindi sa DDR X sa SMCNEDSA! Aminado ako na hirap pa rin ako sa gitna ng song, lalo na doon sa step-jump-step-jump pattern.
